Yesterday, I painted...
Yesterday, I painted in my studio. And, what a mess. I made the worst painting.
So, as escape my love and I went up toward Yacolt and looked at the waterfall. It had a cool crisp sound like a brush on a snare drum. It's called Lucia Falls. It is a little one. About 25 miles away.
The water was low because the dam was stopped
upstream. We had a picnic and the trees were green and the wind blew just enough. We sat on a rock seeing, hearing and feeling its story. We did
not stay long and the light was cooling the greens. Driving back to the I-5 we stopped and bought two little baskets of cherries.
